Ipswich and the surrounding regions are steeped in history and heritage, and are a popular destination for overseas, interstate and local visitors.

The staff of the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre, who are in the business of welcoming these visitors, have expanded their services to include the provision of Tour Guides to assist coach groups who wish to visit our City. Each group will receive personal friendly service, accurate information and a full commentary of the history and heritage of the City of Ipswich during their tour.

Come visit our Queens Park Nature Centre, heritage homes, Ipswich Art Gallery, Nerima Gardens, The Workshops Rail Museum, heritage-listed churches and many more attractions in Historic Ipswich.

Details of Tour Guide Service:

Cost: 2 hour tour ($55) / 5 hour tour ($125)

Time: Tours must begin after 9am and conclude by 5pm (4pm on weekends).

Morning/Afternoon Tea Options:

   • Ipswich Visitor Information Centre (Tours can provide own catering and dine FOC or have catering provided for a small charge).
